Ok so my invites have to be out like last week so I don’t have anytime to go buy any ribbon or anything. What I have available are the heart stickers, some grey&white bakers twine and double sided tape. Thoughts? I think I like the heart stickers but im just not sold. Any ideas…

I like the look of the twine but do they need to have addresses on the other side? Because if so the sticker will work better.

The invites too far too elegant for the twine. The sticker looks good although it takes away from the curvature of the flap but it think it looks best of the 3.

sticker. i love the twine, but the postal service would totally mess it up in the mail

This is actually going in another envelope that will be addressed. this is just the inner envelope.

There have been a lot of brides on the Bee who tried to use something that wasn’t flat – i.e. twine, ribbon, etc., to wrap an invitation, and told by the USPS that there is an additional fee to mail the envelopes. Also, if they are “lumpy” and go through their processing machines, they have a greater chance of being mangled.

I wanted to do pocket envelopes for my invites but I decided against it due to higher cost of postage.
