Help I can't decide! What hair would you pair with this dress?

    Hi Bees!  Can you help me?  I have the dress, but I can't decide what type of hair I want.  A few details ...

    • We're getting married outdoors in an old cotton mill (seen here) so it's slightly non-traditional
    • I've been growing my hair out in hopes that I could wear it long, but am having second thoughts after seeing Mrs. Cowboy Boot's hair.  Currently it's at my bra strap on my back.
    • I go back and forth on a veil -- currently I'm voting no, but that could change at any second
    • Weather isn't really a factor -- we're in Texas in October and the weather should be pleasant -- maybe high 60s?

    I keep going back and forth -- I can't decide on up or down or half and half. Does anyone have any suggestions they think would work well with my dress?  Here's the dress, for reference.

    I think something kind of "effortless" like a messy (in a chic way) chignon or something, or a loose romantic wave. I say no veil!!!

    Lovely dress, and I agree with KJ something airy and pretty. Soft waves or a loosely pinned updo.

    I think you should wear it up & loose/messy. Esp given the relaxed nature of the venue I think down would be too "romantic" and half up/down will be too formal. I picture something like this at that venue with that dress:

    Oh, and no veil, but with an awesome flower!

    I agree with everyone before. Up, but not too deliberate.

    I think it would look great with your hair down in soft waves, very romantic like.

    Oh pretty dress!

    I think the way I had my hair done would go nicely with this. i may be biased though. And it may not be as loose of a style as everyone else is suggesting.

    You're supposed to match your hair to your dress? That's new and most women do not follow that "rule". Wear your hair however you wish. What styles do you like?

    @Ejs -- very pretty! I like that a lot!

    @Selene -- I'm not saying it's a rule to be followed, I'm just not exactly sure what I'd like to do with my hair at all!  Though I think that the nature of the venue and the ceremony as well as the dress should be considered when thinking about hair.  For example, I don't think that something very tight and formal would work because the dress is not very tight or formal?  I also wanted to mention what my venue/style was like because I don't have any religious guidelines to follow that some brides do (i.e. I don't *have* to wear a veil or have my head covered if I choose not to.)  Mostly I'm just indecisive! :)
