Oh, what terrible news. I'm so sorry!!
I had to pen a letter to my uncle (lives overseas) and I knew it was my last correspondence to him. I turned it into a get well type letter and then recalled some of the things I appreciated about him and shared moments. I was able to convey how special they were to me and things I will always remember about them.
I think perhaps telling her how she influenced your life would be meaningful at a time like this. I know if I only had a few months to live, it would be touching knowing my life made a difference to others.

Hi Ladies.. I got some terrible news last night. A very influential woman in my life, who has had cancer for a few years, has been given the statistical 2 months to live. Im sitting here, pen in hand, with her Christmas card and havent a clue how to tell her "Im thinking of you." This may very well be my last correspondence to her and I just cant find the words. Can you all send over some suggestions?
