Well good new is your hair will grow back. And you have got over 7 mos to gorw back some inches. So it may be down to your shoulders by then, maybe not. Can we see pics???
Or, if you really have dreams of long wedding hair, you could look into extensions!
@futuremrswifey: Hey, don't freak out. Now, I will say it's probably a good idea to go ahead and come up with short hairstyle ideas, just to be safe. But, like the PP stated, you have 7 months to grow your hair back.
Whats it look like now? You would look nice with shorter hair as well, but I can't fully picture it.
My hair looks similar to this now...this pic is about 4 years old but the style is almost the same.

Ohh okay. So it looks nice. And honestly, it'll be grown out in no time. I had my hair that short once, and it grew out in 7 months, at the longest lengths just touching my shoulders. So if what you crave is longer hair than just let it grow out. Give yourself a few days though, this new style may grow on you. Besides, like a PP said, there are always extensions!
I love that short style! Play with pretty barrettes/combs/headbands and rock that short hair on your wedding day. :)
I agree :) wear a pretty headband, it'll look gorgeous. I think with the right makeup too it would look perfect! Like some light smokey eyes?
The thing you have to keep in mind is that this is YOUR wedding day, you should look like yourself and not what you *think* you're *supposed* to look like.
headband! I am jealous of girls with adorable short cuts like your new one, you can rock the headband so much better than us long haired girls.
I googled "short hair with headband" and this came up...

(posting pics to show you that you do still have options, btw) :)
Thanks ladies!! I bought some super cute hair flowers on Etsy before the big cut and am hoping to have enough hair by next June to at least be able to wear them!! :)
I wish I could look as good with short hair ...I am jealous!
I have long hair, half way down my back but its super layered. Even with long hair, it's hard to style it into many bridal updos unless I just want my hair down with curls. If your hair is not long enough or thick enough, extensions are always a good alternative. Sally's Beauty Salon has a nice selection of affordable extensions. I have used extensions for my sister's dance performances. She has thin, short hair right above her shoulders.
Here's an example video on how extensions can help with updo hairstyles:
Your short hair looks really, really good on you. I like it better than the long hair and I think you can totally dress it up.
@futuremrswifey: My dear, that's why the Good Lord invented hair extentions. I used some for my wedding (a friend of mind who was in beauty school made them for me), and it worked out well.
That being said, you look very good with short hair and there's no reason why you can't be lovely with it. If I had it to do over again, I'd wear mine short.

Bees! I don't know what got into me but I had been growing my hair out for almost 2 years (it was past my collar bones and the longest it had been since Kindergarten) when all of a sudden, at my normal hair appointment, I asked my stylist to chop it all off.
Now, my hair is majorly layered and REALLY short (like to my ears)...all of the hairstyles I had fallen in love with for my wedding day no longer apply.
Does anyone have pictures or suggestion for short wedding hairdos? I'm feeling completely at a loss and am so mad at myself.
Help!
