Im booking to have my wedding at the Two brothers roundhouse in Aurora, IL. I really want the date of Oct 31 2014. They have space for only an outdoor ceremony but im worried it might be to cold for the guests to side outside for 20-30 min. My fi doesnt want to get married in a church. Are there any ideas on what i can do?

@mekp143: That’s a nice place, maybe if its too cold they could put out heaters?

That would be cold but small heaters may work or even a tent outside would be warmer. I love those large wedding tents!

What would be your plan if it rained that day? Does your venue have an indoor location? Remember that there are more options to ceremony locations than either outside or in a church. You can put up a tent, you can use the space inside any building, really.
If you are insistent outside, you can always set out a basket of fleece blankets that people can grab on their way to their seats. Might make for cute pictures to see people cuddling with those.
Also consider shortening the ceremony. Does the ceremony really need to take 20-30 minutes? Honestly, the longer it takes the more pissed off your guests are going to be about sitting outside on a cold day.
