Hello! I’m new to the boards! So I bought a very simple wedding dress from David’s bridal. I already have a beautiful veil with tiny pearls on it. I just need some statement jewelry since my dress is very simple. We’re having a ceremony with about 20 people. I’m hoping that my dress in not too simple. Please help! I plan on wearing my hair up btw. Here is a link to the dress. http://m.davidsbridal.com/mt/www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Lace-Cap-Sleeve-Long-Jersey-Dress-XS3450_Special-Occasions-Shop-By-Occasion-Graduation.

My dress is really simple too, I found all my accessories on Etsy. There is so much to choose from in all price ranges. After tons of searches this is what I came up with…..
My beautiful sash, I ordered it in white…..
My earrings and necklace
Start thinking about what kind of look you want that day. Simple, classic, fun, modern, chic…. work from there. This might help you select items to pair with your dress. All items I found were from Etsy, each piece was under $40 I think. I really recommend it, I have not been disappointed. Have fun with it!!! I’m an accessories girl and I loved this part of customizing my dress to match my personality.
Sorry for all the huge photos……

@Breezykirbreezy87: Not too simple at all! It’s beautiful and classic, remember you will be holding flowers at some point and you have what sounds like a beautiful veil. Some vintage earrings would look nice, or a simple neclace with a touch of color?
I have a rule I remember hearing a long time ago and I apply it all the time: Before you leave the house always remove one accessory
Im a simpleton, and I think that you want you’re dress and accesories to compliment you not take away from you. K.I.S.S. <3

i love the above idea of a floral sash, you could even get one that had a touch of lace in it to match the top of your dress.
I love classic dresses,…timeless looks are more appealing to me than trendy versions (although I do like the trendy dresses for the right girl).

Find a headpiece to complement your style, maybe add a touch of color. I think drop necklaces are simple and beautiful with wedding dresses, either with crystal, pearl, or even a precious stone like turquoise, lapis, or amethyst

I think your dress is lovely. The PP’s all had great ideas. A couple more suggestions:
Earrings that dangle a bit. Nothing too big, but a little sparkle to frame your face.
A bracelet of some sort. I just saw great gatsby last night…now that movie has some good vintage jewellery inspiration.
Some type of headpiece.
If it’s your thing, you could also have colored shoes. And don’t forget your bouquet, if it’s colored as well.
