I have short hair about an inch on back and longer on top almost like a pixie. But i am so lost!! What do i do for a veil? If any of you short haired ladies out there have any suggestions i would really appreciate it.
i agree, i think a bird cage veil would be lovely in short hair! maybe even something chin length, that might look good. :) you can always buy some tulle at jo-ann's and try out different lengths, just to give yourself an idea.
If her hair is that short, it might be difficult to get even a birdcage veil to stay in -- there isn't a lot of hair to clip it to.
If this is the case, you may wish to try a very delicate, sparkly headband. Maybe something like this? Or maybe a wedding hat? Keep in mind that most pillbox hats need to be pinned in, too, but there are lots of other lovely options. Check out some British sites; those lovely ladies wear fabulous hats on all dressy occasions!
Thank you ladies! i looked at some bird cage veils and fell in love with them and since i dont plan on cuttin my hair i also found some simple tiarras that would look pretty classy. If anyone one ever runs into and vintage inspired hair pieces let me know.
