When you are checking into their prices, are you asking for just a day of, or are you asking for the full package. If you aren't clarifying, you may be getting the full package price.
I suggest that you call a few, if you haven't already and let them know exactly what you are looking for and see if they can give you a lower price. A lot of times, if you call them, they will quote you a lower price than what is listed on their site. And ask them to email you a list of everything they include in the price that they are quoting you, so you can compare it with other quotes.

I don't know what your budget is but I want to recommend Uyen from Sassy Girl Weddings. Check her out on projectwedding.com. She has TONS of fabulous reviews which so far I can say is all true. I've been planning my wedding from abroad with her and can't say enough good things about her. She is just spectacular and on point. Top notch really.

They're based out of Orange County, Irvine Area, but do events all over! They're wonderful to work with and are great for any events. I've seen the weddings they've done and I'm in awe! Definitely give them a call, ask for Melanie!
Not sure where you are getting married but at the place where I will be getting married they provide 2 DOC's for my wedding day. You may want to ask the place where you are getting married if they provide one.
We're going with Kiley Walker and I would totally recommend her! She's reasonably priced, super sweet, and so organized.

Since this post is months ago, you've probably already found someone but for anyone who hasn't I can't recommend my DOC, In the Now Weddings, enough! They ROCK!
Chelsea is awesome! So sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced!

I live in orange county, ca. and I want to get married here. I am looking at wedding planners and they are all very very VERY expensive. I am basically going to design everything myself and really just need someone to help put up the decorations and make sure the pitchers of sodas are filled. I REALLY need help all these people are crazy for what they charge, just because I want a day to remember doesn't mean I want to remember it on my credit cards!!! Any advise would be appreciated!!!
