have you looked into Castle Green in Pasadena? Its byob and you do need a caterer but it is relatively inexpensive and sooo pretty
heres the site:
look into Sportsmens lodge in Studio City http://www.sleventscenter.com/
Are you close to diamond bar? I suggest the Diamond Bar Center. Their price is very reasonable and they have several rooms that will accommodate different event size. It may be difficult to get reservations, but i'm sure sundays aren't tough. http://www.ci.diamond-bar.ca.us/index.aspx?page=854

Is there a certain area you're looking for? OC, LA, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Riverside, etc?
I live in Pasadena, however, my fiance and i wouldn't mind any location down here. We have been looking from San diego to Riverside to Ventura. We are pretty much open at this point
I actually looked at castle green, but i only breezed over it, so i think i will look again. It is really beautiful. thanks

Good luck with your search!
I like the idea of using a local park. Mountaintop Park in Rancho Penasquitos is one of my favorites since it sits atop a hill. On a clear day, you can see the ocean. It would be great to do an outdoor event there. The price to reserve it is low. You'll need to get rentals and it would be more DIY. But I think the location would be real fun.
sure no problem.. the best part is that its BYOB the pasadena city hall is realllly pretty too but that might be pricey.
this isnt my wedding.. found it online
Hi there! I'm getting married at Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano. I really love it. You should check it out! The venue fee is about 3500$ and they have a wonderful onsite caterer (24Carrots) which is in addition to the site fee.

Hi, my fiance and i are getting married in April next year, most likely on a sunday for about 75 people. We want a really nice and simple wedding because we are on a really tight budget. We originally were looking at a specific yacht company, until we read horrible reviews on them. So, now we are back to square one. The yacht was a little over 5000 and included a lot from food to tables/linens, etc. Does anyone know of any good locations in southern california that fits a really small budget? It should be nice weather in april, so i wouldn't mind an outdoor wedding. Public parks are normally less, but we have not found anything that works. Does anyone have any ideas for any inexpensive venues? Please help!!! I am so stressed out now. Thanks
