does he have a nice car? my FI loves to wash his car, he is crazy, so i bought him a TON of car washing stuff.
Another idea: on year i spent like 50 bucks and got 5 dollar gift cards to places like subway, zaxbys, chickfila, jersey mikes...places near his work so he can go to lunch :)
i ended up buying my love a watch (that i will have the best man present to him the morning of). I got it on sale... still going on at Khols. it was 60% off and only ended up costing me $35. I was thinking of something engraved on the back, but i might resort to just writing it in the card.
If you decide to do a basket.. I once did a really inexpensive, creative, sweet gift that my SO lovved and still talks about to this day! I got his favorite chocolates, counted how many were in the bag, then typed and printed out tiny pieces of paper with a different reason why I loved him. I think there were 52 chocolates... so 52 reasons why I loved him. I put it in a chinese food looking box with hearts all over it, and he still reads them to this day! (He ended up not eating all the chocolates, but opened each one right there to read the reasons.)
Those are great ideas! So sweet...I knew that the weddingbee ladies would have much better ideas than me. I'm always at a loss, especially when it comes to affordable. If anyone has anymore...keep 'em coming! :-) Thank you so much!
I decided to do a "Guys' Night Out" theme for my husband for Christmas. I got him a subscription to Sports Illustrasted, two tickets to our local AAA basketball team, and a gift card to go out to dinner. I also ended up getting two tickets to our local minor league baseball team too for the spring. It cost me about $60 total.
Magazine subscriptions are cheap! Maybe you can find one that matches his interest. Plus, they get a new "gift" every month when it arrives in the mail.
Your guy sounds incredibly similar to my guy! Sneakers, seafood, basketball, gadgets. haha. My guy loves Groupon. Pizza, gelator, even Kelvin Slush truck (yum!) we bought on Groupon. Plus most of them are under $25 so they're budget friendly :)

Hi Weddingbees! I am out of work right now and need help coming up with an affordable/creative gift for my husband this year. I'm thinking of maybe some sort of basket with goodies, but can't think of a fun, creative theme. Doesn't have to be a basket...just an idea.
Here's his personality/profile: City Life, Likes Sports - basketball, Video Games, Electronics, Apple gadgets, Hip Hop, Travel, collects sneakers, seafood, eating out...kind of a guys guy.
Any ideas? Thanks ladies!
