Our wedding date is October 22 and I am having trouble deciding on a honeymoon (that we can afford). We live in Ariziona and our looking to stay in the United States so we don’t have to get passports. Please let me know if you have any budget friendly (not to exceed $2k) romantic ideas. Thanks for your help!

@jneden: Puerto Rico? US Virgin Islands?
Why not just get passports? The Bahamas is awesome as is Mexico and Central America.

My fiance and I always love to go to Myrtle Beach, SC. We have only went their for fun but you could make it a romantic honeymoon Im sure! It is very affordable.
You can also do a Fl, Disney Honeymoon?
I went and ordered a passport just to go on our honeymoon…it was only about $130 I think?
We ended up booking an amazing 6 night all inclusive honeymoon on Isla Mujeres, MX. It’s right off of Cancun,MX and it’s going to be AMAZING! We are going for under $2,000. Check out Bookit.com that’s were we get our deals from. They also have coupon codes you can search for. Good luck!

Wine Country! Lots of really cute B&B’s… and since your wedding is at the end of the ‘high season’ you can probably find a lot of great deals.

We are going to Seattle WA and an hour/half north to San Juan Islands.

Have you checked out the package deals on the travel websites? you can get great combinations for cheap! and cruises too.
Alternatively Disney world offers great multiple day deals. San Francisco, where I live, and the surrounding areas is really great. You could probably do it under 2K with some planning and not staying in the middle of the city.

Do you want to go somewhere within driving distance or do you want to fly? Do you want a beach or does it matter? With $2000, you could probably find somewhere really nice within driving distance and stay at a really nice B&B or hotel for a few days. Or you could fly somewhere and rent a vacation house. You’re getting married in October? Maybe you could go somewhere to see the fall colors? Do you want pampering and a slow pace or something with lots of activity?
