I vote that you save yourself the trouble and headache and purchase a frozen pie shell. It will make your life so much easier!

On that note, I tend to make a quiche every weekend. I use a frozen pie shell, any random veggies that I have on hand leftover from the weekend, 6-7 eggs, and a bit of milk. Quiches are wonderfully forgiving and taste great no matter what you put in them!

@Penguingal06: Noooo! My favorite part of a quiche is the crust, and it is super easy to make! I’ve done it with and without a food processor, it isn’t too bad – you can even make it in advance and freeze it.
