The neckline will have a beaded trim, and the waistband will be beaded (with the same beads as in the picture up there). Otherwise, yes the beads will only be on the back.

I've been thinking about this for a week and decided to post it to the Hive... I'm at a loss. Maybe someone can help!
Here's the sketch of my dress. We had a muslin mock-up this week, and I don't like the back:
My problem: The shape of the train is wrong. Also, the seamstress wants to put the beading in that panel in the middle, but I'd like to do something more creative.
The shape of the back/train will be more like this picture; more like a full skirt that happens to be too long in the back, rather than a deliberate train.
This is a close-up of the beaded "lace." I have a few yards of it for the back of the dress. What can I do with it besides that panel idea?
Any ideas? Maybe a picture of some dress you've seen that has beading on the back?
