I had a bolero made by Jasmines Bridal Shop (tons of threads about them on this site) for about $80 and was beyond happy with it. They have a lot of styles to choose from.

@Tinkerbride13:  BHLDN has some nice (but pricey) cover-ups and boleros, in the sale section and in the main bride section. Definitely some non-lace options.

@Tinkerbride13:

Hi

I was in the same situation as you, I bought my strapless dress and was then having nightmares about how I will look in it with me being paranoid of my arms.

I bought this

1299 front

The jacket is so flattering to the elbows which gives the illusion of thinner arms due to where the sleeve stops. Capped sleeves do not suit us girls with chunkier arms due to the fact that the sleeve stops at the largest part of the arm.

Anyway, this jacket was bought in a boutique in London, England where I live. So keep your eye out for them, also try a tailor who will be able to make you one out of the lace of your choice!
I think that a lace bolero or jacket would look great, i think that satin or something will take away from the dress and really make you look like your hiding them. I think that if it is in lace it will complete it and blend with it

Good luck
