It won’t matter… The caterer just wants to know how much of each to order and they will bring the correct number of plates for each choice to the tables these people are assigned too… People will remember whether they chose chicken or beef

If people are sitting together and they’ve not specified that Bob gets the chicken and Jane gets the beef, just assign them to whoever within teh same RSVP, and I’m sure they’ll switch around if you get it wrong. Especially if it’s couples or small families. Might not work so well with groups of 8 lol. But it won’t matter if the beef ends up in front of Bob, as Long as the right number of each thing ends up on each table.

@Jw1724:  Depending on how formal your invitation suite is, you may be able to order a rubber stamp in a beautiful, contrasting, script font in a lighter, contrasting color that reads, “Please initial your selection,” and stamp that message in the white space across from your meal choices.

@Jw1724:  yeah but that’s just to get the right stuff to the right table. People can figure out that their orders got reversed and trade them with each other.

Naw… I have been a maid of honour a few times and did a lot of the leg work for a few of the weddings… And my wedding included… The caterer only wants to know how much of each… plus they will have extra of each so if someone forgets and chicken is brought to the table and they hate chicken there will for sure be extra beef! It will all work out!
