Dress #1 is Justin Alexander 8642 (top left) and Dress #2 is Maggie Sotero-Amelia (bottom right).
I think that #1 is more of a show-stopper and a lot of “bang for your buck.” It looks amazing in person. It has everything I really wanted- sparkle, drama, and it does show off my features. The con to this dress is finding a veil that goes with it and the alterations may be tricky. Apparently JA does a custom measurement but the shoes I pick out are going to be crucial!
Dress #2 is more traditional style, it’s romantic, and I love the blush color. The silhouette is spot on for a petite bride! I’m just sad it’s a little plain. The other ones I tried on were not quite like this one in terms of the sillouette but had the sparkle and drama I wanted.
My mom’s vote is for #2, my friend votes for #1, and the people in the bridal shop oohed and ahhed over #1. I’m really torn. I’m afraid that when my parents visit me that I won’t be able to decide. What should I do?

The pics are tiny so its kind hard to see. Based on the pics I say go with #2. I think you are right about the sillouette being more flattering. Both dresses are beautiful though!

Just from reading your description, it sounds like you love dress #1 the most! I think they both look great, but I voted for #1.
I was in the same boat as you. My deciding factor was that at some point after finding the two that I loved, one stuck out to me more than the other. I tried to imagine my wedding in both dresses and there was just the one that I seemed to daydream about all the time.
I’d say go with #1! You already said you didn’t like how plain #2 was…and you def don’t want to be back up here right before your wedding with a dress regret post about how you feel your dress is too plain!

yeah, do you have bigger pics?

Yea sorry the pictures are small! This website really makes it tough to upload pictures so I had to make a little powerpoint file and save it like that. I found that to be annoying. Here are the links to the dresses:

@murphyl1: I agree with PP you seem more excited about no 1 so go for it

- Wedding: August 2015 - Backyard Forest
I love #1, #2 looks great too though!
I think that if #1 goes with your wedding vibe and venue, go for it! Since it’s so unique, if your wedding vibe needs something more simple, go for 2

- Wedding: November 2013 - St. Augustine Beach, FL
@murphyl1: I voted for #2 because I’m not a fan of the flowers on #1 but it seems you prefer the drama the flowers add to #1. Pick a simple veil that won’t compete with #1; I would just go with a simple cut edge elbow length veil.

I am a fan of drama so I say #1!

1. it’s hard to see the detail in the pic you are in but on the designer website it looks amazing. If it looks the same on you, I def say that one.

I voted for number one but i’d probably remove the straps. Both dresses look great though. 😀
