You could use gocco or laser printer, those would look best!
what kind of printer do you use at home? most home printers will work fine as well. a laser printer is just a form of printer, like an ink jet. you can find them at any office store and they range in price from $100-1,000+. a gocco is a type of screen printer. they arent cheap to purchase and they are out of production, so products are difficult to find.
if you're gonig to purchase a printer, a laser printer would be would probably be better since it can be used on regular household projects and such. goccos are much more difficult to use and cant be used to print mapquest directions.
We used our home printer to make the invites, and they turned out great!

I just got my invitations in the mail. They are the DIY kind, I just need advice on what to use to print the wording. Do I use gocco? regular printer? special kinda printer? help help!!
