So we recently sent out save the dates and I gave some people at work them (including my boss). I was recently offered and new job and will be leaving my current employment which will not go well. Since I have given them save the dates I know I am suppose to give them invites. I still want to invite my fellow employees but my boss??? By the way there is a chance that they could sue me… Not sure what to do…

I would probably try to avoid inviting those with pending litigation against me.

I think the bigger issue here is why are you leaving a job that you have clearly signed a contract for?
But, no, I wouldn’t be sending an invite.

I am sure he wouldn’t come anyways so I would skip sending him an invite.

I did sign a contract but as it is a right to work state it is void. My new employers lawyer has already written a letter. Other people have left and they only tried to sue one person and it was thrown out because it is not valid in my state. But they could still try.
I invited my boss the lawsuit would come from above her so it is not like she is directly sueing me. And they could and probably will choose not to…
