I'm not so sure I'd pick one where he is holding a bottle of beer. Do you have other choices?

I really dont like the other pics the guests took, we havent gotten our hands on the professional pics from the photographer yet.  What is the etiquette for time limit for thank you cards? Im stressing about this, gonna put more pics up

It is cute but not so sure it's the best for Thank you cards. I wouldn't stress though I am sure you will find the perfect one

I agree that the bottle of beer is a bit less than desireable for a thank you card haha!  Have you tried emailing your photographer to see if they can send you a photo to use for thank you cards, even if it's only one formal posed portrait?  For timelines, my family has always said within 6 months to send thank yous, but I have also heard 1 year... so I wouldn't stress too much yet!  Wait for the good pictures!!

I think one of the two of you facing the camera would be better for the thank you card.

I have to agree with one of other posters... Not sure I would pick a pic with the groom holding a beer bottle.  I think you have quite a while after a wedding to mail out thank you cards...

I'd wait for your pro pics.  And I agree with the PP about the beer bottle.  Also, the pic is kinda dark in general... I'm sure you can find something better for your cards.  :)

You should try contacting your photographer and let them know you're trying to find a good photo for your thank you cards - ask if they can send you a few photos to choose from, before they send them all!

@ddubzz:I agree; it's too dark and the beer.  I would do as @cecullaton suggests and see if your photog can send you a pick for your thank yous.

My advice would be to relax! It's not too late for thank you cards. The second one is a bit too formal for me.

Contact your photographer or ask friends and family if  they have anything else.

I would look for something where the two of you are a bit closer- looking at each other perhaps? smiling?

You could always send out thank you cards that don't have a picture. The first picture is waaay underexposed and dark. I'd at least do some photo editing on that, beer issue not withstanding. The second picture is better, but is still a little crooked and almost standoffish with the way you guys are posed. I would either wait for pro pics or send cards that don't have pictures on them.

I'm going to second Cardy and say emailing your pro photog for their recommendation is the best way to go! (I honestly don't care for either photo posted here for the purpose of a thank you card)

The first one is very dark, and I'm not crazy about the second. I agree that you should contact your photog.

#2 is my pick, but groomy is kind of pulling a face.  Email the pro -they're usually accomodating.
