If it hits you just above the knee I think it's perfect!
Can we see a pic of you in it?
It looks sort of short. Maybe more appropriate for a cocktail/passed hor dvoures reception? Although I would rather see you in it before I make a final decision :o)
I think it's super chic. With some dressy accessories, I think it'd be great!
I like it. I also think that it would be formal enough with the right shoes and accessories.
Dude, be comfortable. NOTHING is worse then being in an uncomfortable dress and having to sit in it all night.
I love it!! Formal doesn't mean long - it can mean mini, even! So cute and with the right accessories it'll be perfect!
Since you said it's not as short on you as it is on the model I think it is super cute! I agree with Mrs. Star, with the right accessories it will be perfect and chic for a formal nighttime wedding.
Here is a pic of me in it in August..I would dress it open with formal fancy shoes and earrings..
Looks great...not too short at all. With the rights shoes and accessories it'll be fine :D
Have fun!
You look gorgeous! With formal shoes and earrings it's the perfect lbd! Chic and cute!
I think you look great, and the dress is definitely appropriate! Not too short, and will definitely be formal enough with the right accessories. Have fun at the wedding!
you look great!!! Its not short at all on you and i think it would be perfect for an optional black tie wedding. Maybe dress it up with some classy accessories?
Okay..thanks girls! I think I may go with it...I am going to try to the too tight one on once more (when my husband gets home because I can't even zip it myself..lol)...have a feeling I may go with this one though!
The length of the dress on the model is inappropriate for a wedding.
However, the length of the dress on YOU is TOTALLY appropriate! Wear it and have fun!!!!
You are probably already gone, but I love it on you!!!! With a great pashmina if it's cold where you are, a pair of great heels and jewelry, it's a winner!!!

So I didn't buy a new dress for a wedding I have tonight, because I have some options..the one dress I was going to wear is a little tight up top and I want to be comfortable...this is the dress I wore to my rehearsal dinner in August..is it too casual for a wedding tonight? The wedding is formal (black tie is optional though, not mandatory..)..What do you guys think?
Also, the model in the picture is tall so its not as short on me..
If it doesn't work, I'll just wear the tight one..
