My bridesmaids have navy blue chiffon dresses – I want my accent color to be a bright green, like apple green, but I’m not so sure that I like the idea of green shoes…could I pull off having them wear nude heels and still use green as an accent or would that just look bad? I am horrible when it comes to this “matching” stuff. My dress is ivory, by the way….

I don’t think nude would be bad at all. I personally LOVE the idea of green heals 🙂 Nude would be better than something like gray/silver since your dress is ivory. Maybe talk to a couple of your bridesmaids and see what they think!

I think a nude shoe is very modern, flattering (elongates the look of the leg) and your BMs are more likely to be able to wear a nude shoe after the wedding.

I think a nude pump would look amazing with a navy dress. Nude pumps are really great for making legs look longer, which is always a plus!

I agree, they can so pull off a nude shoe, and it can be worn again, which is awesome. I also do like the idea of a green shoe, just kind of fun and sassy, but economically speaking, I don’t know how much your BM’s dress is or if it can be worn again, as least the nude shoes can be.

nude shoes are very in right now and could definitely be rewearable for your bms. nude shoes with green bouquets would look great!

i love me some nude heels! i say go for it, you can always do apple in the flowers, or in a cardigan or shaw….there are def ways to bring in the apple green without going to the shoes.

Thanks for the advice! I am starting to warm up to the idea of green heels but I think I will go with the nude shoes – I really do want my bridesmaids to be able to wear the shoes more than once! I picked dresses that cost $165 and went over the amount I was planning to have them spend so I don’t want to make them buy expensive shoes and have them dyed and all that.
