Can you apply to nursing schools in Dallas? That seems like the most straightforward solution in that you could move to be with him and still go into school like you planned.
If all goes as planned, I'll be moving down to NC (from Canada) to join my SO. It's primarily to be happy but has added a lot of added benefits for my own education and career. I think it's a balance, making sure you're happy as well as keeping your life moving forward.

I agree with the bees above! Why couldn't you do nursing school in Dallas? My FI and I agreed we wouldn't get married until we were able to live together in the same city because I cannot even imagine how hard it would be to live apart after getting married.
@HappierKate: I will look into it. I am going to apply to Dallas and Maryland nursing schools for Spring start for sure. Fall start deadline is around the corner, and I have only applied to the Maryland ones since I live her and can take the required tests. If I do not get in when I move to Dallas I am going to take courses towards my Bachelors.

I live in Maryland and my Fiance lives in Dallas. I am here working full time and applying to nursing school in the Fall. He is in Dallas for school and we have been doing this for two years. It is hard and it is all we fight about. When we will be together. I am considering putting off nursing school and moving with him, to be happy. Is it worth it to put off somethig and move somewhere for love? We are gettiing married in August. To me it makes sense to move with my husband....to my parents they want me to stay and keep doing what I am doing.
