So on a whim, I bought clip-in extensions last night...I've got extremely thin hair, and figured, what better day to have m dream hair, than on our wedding day?

So, I took the extensions to my stylist (who had never put extensions in) and she and I tried a full up-do, which I love...but then, when she was taking it down, I got a "glimpse" at what a half-up-do would look like!

Now I can't pick...I love the art in the up-do, but I think my Mr and I would like the more feminine look of the half...

What do you think? full, or half?

I'll attach pictures, and a link to my dress...

I personally think the updo fits better with your dress.

    @SHESCOUNTRY:

Me too (agree with deathbydesign)-updo looks like it fits with your gown better.  If you want 1/2 down, you could maybe pull a few pins out at your reception. :)  Happy Wedding Day and Marriage! :)

I think the half updo would almost make your shoulder area too busy because of the straps. The full updo would be gorgeous!

I think the updo is very elegant. Definitely goes with your dress the best.

I think both would be pretty but the dress is so 'romantic' and I like the way the half up do is so soft and romantic too (so is the up do but there's something about the 'half' up do)

    Either way you'll be beautiful!

@SHESCOUNTRY:Definately the updo!  or else you'll hide all the pretty detail on the back of your dress that's most definately worth showing off!!!  Wink

Thanks gals! Keep the opinions coming, I forgot to mention I will be wearing a veil for the ceremony, it would go over the entire up-do, or just under the "bump" in the half...the veil reaches my butt (it's my special something borrowed, and belongs to my matron of honor) so the back of the dress will be covered for the ceremony.

I think your dress is very elegant and especially with the straps on the dress, I think an updo would be stunning with your dress.

I vote for Hair up! Your hair up style is prettier than most of the stuff I see in brides! It's a keeper! :)

I really like the half up do!  Its more romantic and feminine.  I did a half up do too.  I just feel like an up do, as beautiful as they are, aren't me.  They're really formal and I'm just not formal, even in a wedding dress!

i think the up do will look better with your style of dress and if you want you could pull out a few curls for the end of the nite (or the hotel room!)

I love the updo! I think it provides the perfect amount of volume for your whole look.

Maybe do a half up do for a special dinner on your honeymoon?

    Good luck tomorrow!!

I prefer the look of the updo with your dress. The dress has a more elegant and formal look to it, and I think the full updo is better suited.  Great hairstyle btw!

Well, I went with what my gut told me to do, and it was stunning! I'm on my honeymoon, and only have my phone, so I'm not sure I can load a picture, but I can't wait to show you all! Thanks again!

Up do for sure! Your dress is beautiful! I think hair hanging down your shoulders would detract from the necklines too much.

So, this is what I did...and this isn't a pro picture, but a funny shot my BM got of my groom sneaking a peak!
