How long?

I wore my half up/half down and curled. The half up part was then twisted and curled. I did wear a veil, but you could EASILY not wear a veil with the style. Mine was long enough to donate 9 inches and still have shoulder length hair, but wasn’t insanely long.

My hair is past my waist. I’m going to try to do a full up-do, simply because when hair is that long, it is very heavy and it doesn’t hold curls or other heat styling very well. (Maybe yours is different, but mine is stubborn!) You should consider how your hair holds certain styles before deciding you HAVE to wear it down. You don’t want it falling flat and limp halfway through the big day. Would you consider a braided style, perhaps?

Hello, lost on what to do with your long hair, not wanting an updo or wearing a veil twin! I have no advice but could really use the help too, can’t wait to see what people reccomend 🙂 I am thinking there will be lots of side ponytails

This is from my hair trial, which was a little bit before my wedding. My wedding pictures don’t show the detail as much, and I wore a veil.

My hair is really thick, but it’s naturally curly so it held the curl pretty well even with the weight. Note: I didn’t want it SUPER curly, I wanted softer curls. It wasn’t to my waist or anything, but it was well below my bra strap at that time. Cutting it off to donate was FUN. haha. Good luck bees!

Mine was very long too; I wore it wavy with the sides pulled back.. I did have to curl the front all over again when I got to the reception hall though, which kinda sucked, because it was just too long for the waves to hold.

I have super long, but thick, hair and I didn’t wear a veil either. I just had it curled into waves (like beachy mermaid waves) and added a dramatic brooch headband with a side part. Done.

I am in the same boat. I can’t decide on a hair do for our beach wedding elopement, but I have a few inspirations I can share with you. My hair is super long too.
