I’m a big fan of long hair, mine’s been long my whole life. It gives you so much versatility, I think it’s worth keeping it long for your wedding so you can have a memorably beautiful hairstyle on all of your wedding pictures. You can chop it right off after the wedding to mark the transition into wifedom 🙂

@laura.batty:  Oh geeze I know how you feel. I am itching to chop my hair off … But I’m waiting! It will be worth it, I promise. Are there any short styles that you might want to do though? I love the styles that you have picked out. Get it chopped off right after the wedding 🙂

I really feel like cutting off my hair now, but I’m going to keep growing it up until my wedding and then after, I’ll cut it off! (And maybe even donate it!) My hair is already only inches away from being down to my butt. And my hair grows pretty fast, so imagine how long it will be on my wedding day. I’m thinking I might want it braided with flowers in it.

@laura.batty:  I just remembered my grandma had shown me this picture, it’s not a braid, but it’s an idea I could do, but have flowers running down my hair:

If long hair isn’t what you want day-to-day, you could also look into a wig (partial wig?) for the wedding day-I know someone who did that and it looked fantastic!

I think short hair looks good on folks with small heads and a nice face. I have a big noggin, so I prefer longer hair. I am trying to grow it as long as I can prior to the wedding. My hair is around my bra strap (the longest pieces). I guess it just depends on if you want to change it up and look a bit different for the wedding. Good luck!

@laura.batty:  I guess the best thing to do is to try to hold off until after the wedding to get it lopped off 🙂 Just six months, right? Maybe dye it another colour?
