I don't have any personal experience, but I'm getting my boudoir shoot done next month and asked my photographer to suggest makeup/hair artists. She highly recommended Ginger Mullins out of Raleigh. I'm not sure what your budget is for this, but my photog said she generally charges $60 for hair or makeup, $100 for both, and $175 to do it on location.
Again - no personal experience with her, but it sounds like she's done a wonderful job for the brides that my photographer has worked with. Good luck - and so sorry you got canceled on last minute!

I'm using Images by Denise and although we havn't had the wedding yet I loved her at my trial. I'd recommend her and her prices are good!

Hi ladies,
I am getting married in Durham on 4.24 and my makeup artist cancelled on me last night! With only 18 days to go, I am freaking out, and was hoping that someone might have some recommendations. My fiance is calling every makeup artist we can find out of desperation...so if you know of anyone, let me know!
