I'd say a nice classic grey or black tux/suit with a colored tie would be the way to go.
Other than the color of the Bridesmaid dresses, you haven't given us much to go on. How formal is your wedding? Are the girls' dresses long or short? Do you have a pic?Inside? outside? Do you want the men in tuxes, suits or vest and pants?

I was in a blue/brown wedding where I wore a brown bridesmaid's dress. The men wore black tuxes with brown vests. I know some people hate black/brown together, but I didn't think it looked half bad!
I personally wouldnt do brown suits, you could try a tan suit with a brown tie, and a green handkercheif in the pocket.

I would chose a light tan suit. I love how it looks with chocolate brown!
I'd do either tan suits or vests. Brown dresses and brown suits would just be an awful lot of dark brown.
I would do tan/khaki suits with a green or brown tie. I'd personally lean towards green but either would look nice.
I'm doing the same colors as you, and I've been leaning towards chocolate tuxes. I love the way the green will pop on it, we are having a 6pm wedding...I think chocolate brown with the green vest and tie will look good, and my groom is wearing camou vest & tie, one of the only things he wanted! =) The tan does sound like a good idea, also...just something you have to look at and consider! I'm going to go to a tux place and see them both and then decide.

All of our bridesmaids have chocolate brown dresses. Our colours are green and brown. After a long stuggle im turning to all you wedding bee's to help me!! PLEASE OH PLEASE!
