I have been searching for the perfect wedding dress for months now! I’ve narrowed my searches down to 3 dresses.
I am going for a vintage inspired cathedral wedding but with a modern touch. The venue is in a cathedral style church and my colors are pale coral and gold.
The choices I have are:
I’m head over heels for the Mori Lee dress however, I’m scared it may be straying away from the vintage look I’m going for.
The Maggie Sottero dress is perfect but I want the buttons in the back opposed to the corset laces. Plus I’m scared it may not show off my curves like I would like it to.
The Allure dress is the only one of the three I have tried on so far and it looks great on me! But again, I feel it is straying from the vintage look.
I NEED OPINIONS!!!
Thanks for reading! 🙂

I honestly love the Allure one the best from the pics. The lace would still fit a vintage theme.

I actually love the mori lee & maggie sottero best! You know you can always alter the corset to buttons, and vice versa if you want. I wouldn’t worry about the mori lee being too far from vintage…it looks very similar to the allure style so you know it would look great!

I didn’t think about having the corset altered! Thanks, ladies! The more I look at them all, the more I love the Maggie Sottero dress!

@rdhladybug: The Emma is a stunning dress. I tried it on three times in two colors. Just loved it!!!

The Allure looks vintage to me! That silhouette is a trendier one IMO and the Mori Lee has the same type. I love the Emma the best and second would be the Allure.

I love all three!! Great choices!! I would have to see a picture of you in them to best decide though.

Lace always, I think, gives off a vintage vibe in varying degrees (depends on the dress), so I think they’d all fit; but, I think the Maggie is the prettiest! Maybe you could keep looking, or talk to your consultant when you try on and see if she can suggest anything similar with the buttons you’re looking for.

They’re all pretty, but the Maggie dress is gorgeous and I think it will stand the test of time better than the other two.

The Allure! Especially if you’re considering having it in the beautiful light gold color (which possibly also keeps you on the vintage track)

@rdhladybug: I love the look of the Maggie, here is another WB post about it-and in different colors.
Are you going to add a poll?

@creativeplannertobee: Thanks for replying to my post! I’m new to weddingbee! I have no idea how to make a poll. Haha! How would I go about doing so?

It looks like the Emma tops! It is absolutely stunning and the details are to die for. I am hoping to try it on. It also looks like it would be much more comfortable than a mermaid.
Does anyone know if I would be able to customize my order if I did decide to buy from Maggie Sottero? I know that some designers like Casablanca can do major customizations when you order.

I think you need to try them all on and take pictures.
I was stuck between 2 dresses.
After I tried them both on, and looking at pictures of me in them,I knew which would be the dress.

@rdhladybug: wow they are all gorgeous to be honest you can’t go wrong with any of them. I think the allure is a happy medium between the Mori lee and Maggie
