Okay, so my theme is a sort of “Carnival/vintage state fair/circus” meld-together, and I’ve been thinking about centerpieces that aren’t cheesy or tacky… That’s when I found these in that little “$2.50 and under” corner of Target, and decided they were the perfect place to start!
They’re silver steel, which I plan to paint with a crackle-coat in my two dominant colors (cobalt/royal and light yellow)… I had some ideas for floral pots at the bottom, but now I’m not so sure… Any good ideas, bees?

It depends on how “carnival” you want to go.
There are many variations of the popcorn container centerpiece, some filled with flowers, others, candy.
these ones are filled with noisemakers
these milkshake or soda centerpieces are cute
these plain pots work too

You’ll have to be careful to make sure that doesnt lean more towards 4th of July. But man those icecream/flower center peices are great!
I think if you add some of those pretty long swirly candy suckers would be a great start. I’d go with mason jars filled with colored popcorn maybe to match your wedding colors?

Before I even scrolled down my thought was “add lollipops”. I LOVE the popcurn buckets. I would fill a popcorn bucket with gumballs and stick lollipops in it. The start could go in the middle.

Those are super cute.
I would just get a styrofoam ball, cut it in half and paint to match, and have 2 or 3 of these poking out.
