I think it's up to you and what style you're going for. I picked Marlin because I love the fun, funky pictures and my wedding photographer has the same style - not just "cookie-cutter" pictures of cutting the cake, first dance, etc. How do you want the pictures to look when you look at them in 6 months? A year? 5 years?
both are great,, but the greatness of marlin's photos seem to rely heavily on post processing (photoshop, etc), whil imo adrienne captured human emotion better. obvi they both used photoshop, but i think adrienne's are just more... pure and happy. i'm really not articulating this well, but hopefully it makes sense
Adrienne! Because we know each other! :-) hahaha.. seriously, she is very talented and should make great photos of your wedding! -Ian
I vote Adrienne as well. Their photos are comparable, but Adrienne's might be just a smidge better. I love the creativity with the balloons (I love to see how other photogs were dealing with the transition season before the snow), and the brightness in her photos. Good luck choosing!
adrianne is really good but i prefer marlin... i think i like the grittier honesty of his portraits to me he captures the emotion better, everything is not always roses and i like his play on shadows.. he seems more urban to me while adrianne seems more casual and laid back...
Adrianne. I liked the crispness of her pictures. The way she uses light and color looks beautiful!
I prefer Marlin's style. His appear to be more crisp and clear than hers. Adrienne's actually looks too photoshopped to me.
I think both are good and I have by no means trained eyes. I think I prefer Adrienne's pictures, though, as I think her pictures are more whimsical and I prefer the brightness of the pictures. I think both catch emotions very well so I couldn't decide which one is better in that regard.
GL!
thank you for your comments!
it's a really tough decision since they are both good.
i guess i have to decide whether i want my photos to have vivid colors or vintage colors..
@ting ting: i love the vintage appeal of marlin's, you hit the head on the nail!!! but of course i prefer the vintage photos that look like they are from a 50 or 60s magazine spread.
I like the first one because its different and I like things that are different. :D
I like Marlin a lot better. I think he has some really intimate, candid shots. His photos seem more creative, and I like the composition. Just my opinion. :)
Have you met with either of them? If you can't choose and love the style of both, personality will make a huge difference. I don't know how comfortable I'd be having my pictures taken by someone I didn't get along with.
Just by looking at a few of the pictures on each website, I'd go with Adrienne. The colors and details are gorgeous.

i can't decide between two photographers.
both are awesome but one's style is a bit more vintage than the other.
their prices for the package i want are exactly the same, so budget is not an issue.
which one would you choose?
