Anyone that has been following my posts know I have had issues with my cousin getting married, i.e, picking the same date 6 months after FI & I set our date. So her wedding has been moved from 8/14/10 to 8/7/10 to 11/7/10 and now it is 9/26/09 - yes ladies that is next month...her reason being that her FI wants to put her as spouse on his military paperwork so she has all benefits...
ANYWHO I know need a dress for her backyard garden wedding, please help.
I think all three are great choices, but I really like the chocolate with the contrasting sash.
I agree, the chocolate one with the sash is stunning and perfect for a garden wedding. I think the B and W one is too busy...but thats just me.
Since the blue is ahead at the moment - what color shoes would you pair it with? I'm thinking silver?
Love the blue dress! And I'd either go with silver or copper (if you can find them) colored shoes.
tessabella - I think I have about 3 pairs of silver, a pair of copper, and a pair of gold shoes...shoes aren't my problem it's everything else LOL
I chose the green one but really I love them all!
bellamargot - I'm dark hair (shoulder length), dark eyes
And just in case:
I'm 5'4" -105lbs - long legs (35.5") & long arms - basically a real life Olive Oyl.
i loooove the print, but i think the blue is best for this occasion...if it's in your budget, i'd say buy them both, because they are both equally as awesome! maybe you could wear the other one to your rehearsal dinner?
Ooh dark hair with the blue would be sooo pretty. And your jewelry options are endless.
I think they're all cute, but I think I'd go with the chocolate dress with the sash. So cute.
Love the chocolate with the sash. Def think the black and white one is too busy like previously stated.
I love the blue dress, too, but they're all great! Where are these dresses from?
You could do a silver shoe. Just make sure it is AMAZING!
I could also see a funky shoe that has a crazy print. Check out Carlos Santa
All 3 dresses are from Charlotte Russe and are under $45 each.
I am not afraid of print and pattern - probably why I like the b&w. Plus being skinny a pattern like that gives me presence.
Not that my bubbly personality isn't enough LOL.
But what accessories would you pair anyone of those dresses with?
They're all pretty but the blue is my favorite, I love the draping on the front.
I love the teal dress, very pretty! I also like the bow on the black and white dress though :)
I need Miss Poodle - to make me the dress in blue with the contrasting sash of the chocolate brown and add the sparkle from the black and white
Votes are in and the Mister also choose the blue dress - so blue it is. I will post pictures once it's in.
Does anyone know where I can find a silvery grey pashmina that's not a lot of $$$$
this may sound crazy-but if you have a hair supply store by your house. or in like a mini mall near you-they just might have one
Miss2Mrs - do you mean like a Sally's? They have those? I know they have head scarves but I didn't think they were big enough to wrap around me....I might have to check it out this weekend.
Blue or chocolate but I ended up choosing chocolate (not that it'd matter much since blue is winning by margin!) Definitely not the black and white one, while I like the contrast and the detail on the bow, it's the least suitable one for a garden wedding.
I love the 3rd dress! Get you some cute shoes girl. You can work it out!
I love the blue dress! Glad you chose it.. can't wait to see pictures :D
Have you checked Claire's for a cheap pashmina? I know they have a lot of prommy stuff, and now that it's almost fall they might have some?
For a garden wedding, I have a slight lean toward the chocolate. All are great choices, though.
what if I do the blue with a chocolate brown pashmina? Is it too autumnish? Should I go with the grey/silver?
Love them all! The blue one is the most eye-catching, to me: love the color!
Teal blue is the best for the occasion I think, distictive yet not too fusy, great if you have blue eyes or eye shadow as well
Oh and DEFINITLEY silver shoes with a bow to match your bow on your dress perhaps?
