I am so torn between a soft and romantic look or a blingy ballgown!
Let me know your thoughts!!!
Allure C240 vs. Essense of Australia D1410
VERY different gowns….
and here they are standing up!

@renatajulie: I love the lace romantic!! It’s so pretty

If I hadn’t of already bought my dress, that Essense of Australia would be a huge contender. That is GORGEOUS! No question. It flatters you so well, and it still has bling (the belt).
I’m not crazy about the second dress, and I love bling (my dress itself is covered in sparkles and crystals). I feel like the way it is placed, it feels more ‘prom-ish’ to me. Just my opinion though.
Totally unrelated, but is your city correct in your profile? My hometown. 🙂

@renatajulie: They’re both beautiful on you, but I love the romantic one. I’m not a fan of the sparkle on the Allure. I don’t like how it’s concentrated on just those areas. Maybe if it was more spread out or only on the bust? I dunno. I love the EoA one, though.

I really liked Number 1 in the seated photo but then in the standing shot the way that lace overlay bit is just throws me off a bit…but I really like this style in general on you! Not a fan of 2 at all sorry, just not my taste.

I voted for the Australia one, but I think the Allure is still a great shape/material for you. I just don’t like the huge CHUNK of beading in the middle; it’s just so… abrupt? There are other patterns of bling that would look fantastic IMO 🙂

That’s what I’m worried about with the Allure one…too much like prom or pageant-like? Its stunning but the Essense of Australia is romantic is very pretty, not a HUGE fan of the lace that is hanging in the front though…and can’t find anything like it without that hanging lace- but does it look too random or does it look nice on the dress?
I’m looking for the balance between sexy and cute, not too sexy not too cute- just in between!

@Scorpio88: My city is correct 🙂 yay for Windsor!!! Well I am living in Tecumseh, but same diff! (kinda LOL)

I’m button inept, I meant the Essence of Australia, but accidentally clicked the Allure.

These are the ones I TRULY LOVE, but are Allure Spring 2014 and nobody has them ordered to come in and I don’t know if I should take a risk and get one of these without trying them on. Any brides brave enough to buy a dress they LOVE without ever trying on, but knowing the style and shape of others you tried was similar?
These are my TOP 2, but of course not on me as can’t find them.
Anyone care to let me know what would look best on my super curvy body type??
Thats the Allure 2701…
Here is the Allure 2710…
The BLING here is not as crazy as the one I tried on, but still a wow factor I think, but still romantic, and the top one is so pretty in all lace, could picture a nice bling belt and call it a day and found the dress!

I voted Romantic — you look gorgeous in both — they’re both very flattering. But the blingy one did seem more “pageant” to me — maybe it’s because it has that the wide V-shaped bling which I often see in pageant dresses? I think if you wanted bling, you could find more sparkle that is also more bridal. Maybe more like this?

@renatajulie: Haha awesome, hard to find other bees from this area!
If you don’t like the lace overlay, is it able to be removed? I do admit when I saw the standing up picture, I wasn’t as crazy about it because of that, I just don’t like the way it flows with the rest of the dress. It’s still beautiful though, I think dressing it up with that belt adds the “bling” but still romantic feeling.
ETA: The Allure 2710 you just posted is gorgeous too! Those would be my top two choices for sure.

I’m sorry love, neither is truly doing it for me. The romantic one is not a great shape for you. The blingy one is just too pageant, but the shape is good. Look at more drop waist ball gowns or fit and flares.
None of the fit N flares look good on me 🙁 I have huge hips and they just make that area between your upper thighs look so terrible on me, I wish!
Ive been looking at drop waist ball gowns but slim pickins!
Any help on styles you ladies have tried on that would look nice on me and that hasn’t been discontinued?? I liked Allure C160 and Allure c222 but both disc 🙁
