Hi everyone. So after reading a lot of posts reviewing Jasmine’s, I’ve decided to order my dress from there. I’m just having trouble deciding between 2. I’ve already ordered a reception dress from Leanne Marshall, which I can’t wait to get. This would be for the ceremony only. I like lace, and I’d like to have lace in my ceremony dress, as it is in my receiption dress and I’d like to somewhat tie them together. My first idea was to keep things very simple, but part of me kind of wants to go all-out. Anyways, a little background on body shape/type. I wear a street size 8, and have a fairly large bust (36D), so I want to take that into consideration for what may or may not work for my body type. I am also not super tall, 5′ 4″. I’ve narrowed things down to these two:
Any opinions are much appreciated. Thanks!! 🙂

For me, I don’t care for the tiers on the first one..and i think it has the potential to make the bride’s hip area look large
The second one is really pretty and romantic—if they could make sure the lace part covers your chest, it would make a nice choice

I’m not sure either one will be appropriate for your bust. I have a large bust too and the first one – the bodice looks like it has defined cups – and I don’t know if they’ll be able to make it look right. On the second one, the top looks so low for what’s covered and that model is so flat lol I don’t know if it’s going to look the same. If I HAVE to pick between the two, it would be the tiered dress, b/c I think it will fit your bust better and flatter your body better, but I think you might be able to keep searching for something that might fit your bust better. They’re both beautiful dresses though.

Also, you switched it up on your poll. You said the first one is the one with the sleeves, but the one with the sleeves is your 2nd link and if someone doesn’t pay attention, they’ll just click the second button and vote and I get the feeling that’s what the bee before me did because she seemed to want to pick the one with the sleeves. Anyway, you should fix that or your results might get skewed!!

I voted on your poll wrong. I like the first dress

I love the dress with the sleeves! It’s just gorgeous – it has a bit of a classic cut, and reminds me a little of something Grace Kelly would have worn! 🙂 That said, I’ve seen the tiered dress on another bee and it’s just beautiful.
What is the theme of your wedding? Maybe that would help you with your choice? It’s hard for me to say what might fit you nicer without a picture of you in it, but if it went on the dress itself, I wld say I liked the sleeved dress just a little more 🙂

@junkbondtrader: They are both beautiful dresses. The on with the teirs feels a little bor bridal to me. The one with the sleeves is lovely, but you would need to be super aware of how much of your chest it covered, it looks super low ct and the model has a very small bust. Either way though they are both stunnign and you can’t really go wrong!

I don’t think either will work for your cup size. The low cut with long sleeves could look all wrong. The first one you could be running the risk of spilling out of the cups. May be they could do that lace overlay for the 1st dress that way you would be secure for the ceremony.

Thanks everyone! I fixed the poll, so it should be right now. Thanks for catching that. 🙂 And I appreciate all the input on the bustline fit. I have only tried on about 3 or 4 bridal dresses so far, mostly because I’m not finding a lot that I like on me so far. I’ll definitely try on more bustlines and fits to see what works best for my size. 🙂
Also, we are getting married in the desert, very small intimate wedding, about 30 people. For some reason this has fixated me on lace, although I’m not sure why
