FWIW, I’ve had both a cushion and an OEC moissy. I love the OEC so much more! The sparkle is way different, but in a really good way. The 9-10mm OECs are sooooo yummy.

I never pictured myself with a round either, but mine is set in a soft square (cushion) halo. It has 4 claw prongs on the center stone that square it off quite a bit. If you get an OEC in the right setting it really can almost look like a vintage cushion. Jcent’s settings come to mind with her barely pinks.

A setting similar to this would look nice with any OEC!

@kpcascio:  Oh my! That third ring must be a Single Stone masterpiece, right? Their settings are to die for!

I voted that one, obv 🙂

I have a 3ct OEC amora moissanite & loveee it! The OEC cut is so much crisper and more beautiful (IMO) than the traditional brilliant cuts in moissy (I used to have a 3ct RB).

Here’s a few pics of my ring

(it’s dirty in the first pic, sorry about that!)

(btw, the first ring you posted looks a lot like Jewel’s by Erica Grace’s “Sophie Solitaire” which I personally like a little more)

All three of those settings are gorgeous. I voted for the second one.

I love the first one, especially for that large of a stone.

I’m a fan of chic simplicity so I would go for #1.

I love my mossy, #3 because I wanted an OEC but didn’t go with it. I would say #2 if you had smaller hands since it might be too wide for my taste.  I have a 2ctw round on a size 4.75 finger so I do like big too!

Love the OEC– #3. Where did you find that setting? I’m absolutely obsessed with vintage inspired rings.
