They are both very similar, but I think the princess has a bit more detail on the basket? As you are having trouble choosing why dont you let the final decision be his? Then you know you will get something you love and a surprise!

I like the second. I feel I see renditions of the first more than the second. I also really like the basket on the second one.

I like the first one! I’m biased though because I have a cushion halo with a RB center myself!! I really like how a round center softens the look of the ring vs. a princess cut.

I really love the first one. Plus with white sapphires, in my experience, the round cuts tend to sparkle better than the princess cuts which tend to “flash”. I feel that the first one is really classic and the cushion halo gives it more personality than the princess halo. No matter what, I’m sure you’ll love your ring!

I like the first one. I have a princess solitaire which I love but I’m personally not a fan of a princess cut in a halo. It looks boxy to me.

fersou:  I prefer the cut of the first one. But as others have said they are quite similar. Have you seen them in person? I only bring it up because if it were me I would have a halo also made of white sapphires. I think having white sapphire next to diamonds may look a bit off, but that’s just me.
