Polka dot! I like polka dots for kids, it's not too baby and not too mature.
Diamond second.
The other two I think are too "mature".
Really like the paisley curtain you picked out as well.
Personally I would think about egtting some coloured decals to match the curtains (It looks like there are leaves on the fabric?) because I thik the dots and sucjh are just too busy, plus it means a lot of work if you ever want to redecorate. Decals are removeable, cheap and the larger ones can change the whole look of a room in a moment.
I love the polka dots (: and the curtain you picked out is really pretty!
I agree with regberadaisy that the last two look a bit too grown up. I love both the polka dots and the diamond pattern, although I would probably preference the diamond pattern slightly above the polka dots. Either one would be super cute though!
I kind of wondered the same thing about the last two (whether or not they were too mature) but love a good moorish pattern for my own tastes hah, and saw the houndstooth in pale pink/white which looked really sweet.
@BerryBerry: I considered decals, but love the uniform look of the whole wall done in a pattern. To tone down the business I'm hoping to keep the contrast between the two colors really subtle.
Thanks for everyone's feedback, keep it coming :)
I love the diamond pattern, it's a good balance between baby-kid-adult. The polka dots will be outgrown quickly, and I agree that definitely the moorish pattern is too adult. The houndstooth could work in softer colors.
I love that houndstooth stencil, but I think it will clash with the Paisley curtains. The polka dots would go best!
As much as I ADORE that Moorish pattern, I think the dots or diamonds would go best with the curtains you have already.

DH and I are starting to work on our future daughter's nursery. So far, we've painted the walls/trim and hung new curtains and now I'm at a standstill.
The wall color has me a little disappointed, in person it is much more vibrant/saturated than the picture shows. (I actually like how it looks in the picture.) Instead of repainting the whole room, I'm hoping to lighten things up with an accent wall and I'm considering using wall stencils. (Oh and for what its worth, because of how vibrant everything is looking, I'm going with white furniture, frames and accents but likely some color in the throw pillows and definitely in the crib bedding.)
So which one do you like best?? I'd be painting the stencil a lighter shade of the paint color or possibly a metallic/iridescent white depending on which stencil I ultimately choose.
1.Polka dots
2. Diamond pattern
3. Houndstooth
4. Moorish
What do you think?
