@Mona204:  If you’ve got 2.5 carats in your wedding band, I think 3/4 carat in your e-ring will look dwarfed.  I think most people start with the e-ring and get a wedding band to match, and doing it backwards is tricky!

I think a massive wedding band would look best either alone or with an equally massive e-ring.  Here’s an image I found from Google images that looks nice:

Since the band stones are .5 i would prbly go up a little for the ering center, even just to 1 ct i think would be nice. Very pretty band!!

Well, how about something similar to a solitare but with more bling — a round center stone flanked by baguettes! One of the reasons I’m recommending this look is that it is what I have, only I have a 1-ct, seven-stone wedding band. 🙂
