I’m having the toughest time trying to choose my wedding dress, I’m between two dresses I love equally. Just a little backround, my wedding is at an estate on the water in Long Beach Island, NJ and is going to take place next September (I know I’m really early on the ball for ordering a dress but I have a really busy year coming up with work so I’m trying to do as much as I can before that all starts). Most of my wedding decor is DIY as I’m making centerpieces and favors, but the actual venue is pretty upscale and grand. The actual ceremony takes place on a pier on the water. Any input would be great! Thanks!!
Choice #1, Justin Alexander Venice Crochet Lace Oyster/Ivory
Choice #2, Enzoani Dakota, Ivory

They’re both gorgeous, but the second one has that extra bit of ‘oomph’!

@tigerlily1186: You’re not early! I”m partial because Dakota is my dress and I just ordered it today, so you’re not rushing!!

The first one makes you look really tall. And tall is awesome (to me, anyway).

Depends on how “sexy” you want to be. If you want to show a little more of your curves, go with the second dress. If you want to be bit more sophisticated and trendy, go for the first. The white lace over a color underneath is the newest thing. Think about how the dresses will bustle because you won’t be able to dance with either of those dresses as they have a long train. And honestly you might spend more time with the dress bustled than down – think of how long the reception is compared to the ceremony.

@tigerlily1186: I love the flair on the bottom of the second, I think it’s beautiful! Are you getting married at Bonnet Island Estate? I LOVE that venue!!

@JrzyGurl: close guess! Mallard island which is the same owners as bonnet

I think the second dress is gorgeous on you! Really flattering shape.

to be completely honest, I hate the way the first goes straight down. I love dresses with a more define silhouette and thats number two..you look great in that dress

#2 is super figure flattering. #1 is less flattering. For me it’s no contest!

@tigerlily1186: My vote is for the Enzoani (by a long shot!). It’s so much more elegant and sophisticated than the Justin Alexander gown … It’s definitely the type of dress I pictured when you described your venue and the overall look and feel of your wedding.
I also think the Enzoani is much more figure flattering. The Justin Alexander is just kind of … There. The Enzoani accentuates your curves and showcases your figure, and it does so without being overly sexy.

I love #2. I’m not a huge fan of how you can see the seams on #1.

I like the overlay of #1, but #2 flatters you better. Both are lovely!

I voted for 1 as i marginally prefer the neckline, but they are both stunning on you!

@tigerlily1186: they are both beautiful on you, but I think the second one flatters your figure much more than the 1st.
