Aahh I need help! How do you make this decision!?! I thought I knew what dress I wanted, and I posted it here last week and got such nice feedback from all you bees! Then I went shopping again today and found 3 more that I love! So I'm posting all 4 and hoping you can help me make this decision. I have all four pics below, but I haven't yet been able to get multiple pics to appear in one post, so I may need to add pics as comments. My wedding will be outside in a beautiful garden at a bed and breakfast with a tented reception on the gorgeous grounds of the B&B.
Thanks all! I appreciate the help!
I like the 4th one!!! So pretty. I don't know why but I'm not really feeling that other silhouette on you.
I LOVE #3!! I think the skirt in #4 is a little too full and it doesn't show off your figure as much. #1 would be my second fav but I think the skirt in # 3 is more elegant.
I think 1 and 3 are interesting, but classic. The hems are beautiful!
Totally agree with the last comment about #4. You're a skinny Minnie in the first three.
I like 2 and 4! Four the best though.
I love #1 and #2! They are both gorgeous on you, but very different, so it depends on whether you want more modern and traditional. Though personally, I love #2 for how you describe your wedding!
Number 4 is my favorite followed closely by number 3. All of them are lovely- you can't go wrong no matter which you pick!
Wow, you give me a hard choice now! I really really loved the Galina when you posted it, and remember that you'd be able to get it for a deal! That being said, I think the first dress is going to just dazzle in a garden wedding. I'm voting for #1 this time!
These poll results are hilarious - I was hoping there would be a clear winner! I appreciate the comments though - they're actually helpful. I can see #4 floating around a garden wedding/reception, but I think #1-#3 look better on me and flatter my figure more. Such different styles (between #1-#3 and #4) and I can't even decide between the two! Do any of these dresses seem too formal for a garden wedding?
@pengoala - I appreciated your feedback when I first posted! I thought when I went shopping this time, it would just be to solidify that I wanted the galina, but it didn't turn out that way!
@jamieynn_109: glad to help. :) In the end, you've got to go with your heart. You look beautiful in all of them, it's just going to boil down to what YOU feel beautiful in! Good luck with the decision, you really can't go wrong!
The first one is SUCH a beautiful dress and looks GREAT on you. Please get the first one!!!!
#2 or #4 are best, IMO. For a garden wedding, I think the flowers on #2 would be perfect!
I love the unique details on #2 and think it looks very flattering!
I love the 1st one! Not crazy about the second one but maybe w/ alterations it would look better (top looks a little big on you). You have a great figure! Cant go wrong any which way :D
I LOVE the second one with the flower detail. I think it is extremely flattering nad has the perfect amount of detail. Also, it is unique! Love it!
Thay all look great...but if I have to choose, I would say #2. The flowers work just beautifully both on you and in your garden setting. My least favorite is #4 - just doesn't do your figure justice. But it is a least favorite by a very slim margin. Like I said, you can't go wrong with any of them.
Now which one could you simply not walk away from? That's really the one to pick.
You look terrific in 1 & 3...but, my top pic would be 1!! You look absolutely beautiful and timeless, while also showing off your figure! Plus, the detail on the bodice and skirt are breathtaking!!
i will die if you don't choose #4!! no not really but i have very strong feelings about this. you look dy-na-mite in it!
I voted for number 2 as it is so pretty and a bit differnent - but in a good way. I also think it flatters your figure a lot more than the other ones. The others are OK but a bit samey, number 2 has the WOW factor!
#2 made me go "ohhhhhhh" and thats what I looked for in a dress...so that was my choice! But they are all beautiful and you cant make a bad decision!
Good Luck!
1,2, and 3 all make you look tiny and as if you have no hips. #4 does NOT have this effect at all - it might be because you have your arms up to take the photo. Since you posted 4 dresses, I get the sense that you aren't there yet - usually it comes down to 2. Maybe try them on again?!
@sfchick... So, is it a good thing that I look tiny with no hips, or not such a good thing? :) I think I do have to try them on again, but I do think my dress is one of these 4. The first three were taken from an angle, and I have no slips on at all, so I think they do define my waist/hips more than the pictures show. They all nipped in my waist nicely (well, what waist I have... my midsection is kind of rectangular!).
I agree with sfchick. #4 doesn't really flatter your figure. It doesn't show your waist! You have a great figure don't hide it!
With that said.. I like #1 the best. It's romantic... like I would expect for a garden wedding and reception. #2 is also another great choice.. it shows your figure and has a more modern classic look for a garden wedding. I think either would be a great choice.
#2!! it's fashion-forward and it looks really great on. My friend just got married in your dress #4, and the whole night she was pulling it up because the fabric was so heavy. They are all beautiful, but I say go for #2 :)
I like #2 best for the unique details and how it flatters your figure. It might just be the angles of the photos, but I feel like 1 and 3 make you look a little top heavy with hips looking a bit narrow. #4 is also pretty but I like the way #2 makes your waist look very defined and tiny.
@jamieynn_109: having no hips and looking tiny is a GREAT THING! :) See mandigrl04 's comments below mine - she hits it right on the head! :)
So if your dress is one of the four, I'd suggest going back to salon(s) and really trying the gowns out - walk around, sit down, bend down, do a little disco dancing, etc - that way you can get a feel for the movement of each gown. This will probably x out a couple immediately for you. Of the four gowns, I think number one photographs the best - it looks a bit more expensive and the vertical seams really accentuate your awesome figure. The skirting on 2 and 3 looks very matte and kind of flat - this might just be the lighting. From looking at #2, it appears like it's going to wrinkle easy. Spend some time sitting in the gown and see what it looks like when you stand up.
Sorry for the lengthy post - I've had too much coffee today :( Please post more photos so that we can get better idea of the gowns - maybe stand by front window of salon? The Galina gown is a great modern gown but I suggest only for really tall women who want to hide their hips and thighs. Just my 2 cents, go with your gut and listen to the women at the store :)
I voted for #1 but I like #2 almost as much. I guess it just depends on the feel you're going for. But all four are really flattering and pretty!
I voted wrong, I mean to vote for #2, I also love #4 on you. They are the most figure flattering, imo.
