I'm down to 2 dresses. One I bought online from an auction site days before flying from New Zealand to Canada and wasn't able to try it on. The other I bought shopping with my mom while I was back visiting. The used auction dress is Essence D833. The clearance off the rack gown is Maggie Sottero Caleigha. Help me choose please! I'm having a bit of a head versus heart moment.
They are both very similar. I prefer the top one, but the bust area doesn't look right. Is the dress twisted to one side?
I think the first dress is more flattering on you, i mean the first pictures, i personally think the second doesn't suit you. go with the sweetheart neck line.

I agree with the first poster about the bust on the first dress. Something about it isn't sitting right. I prefer the second.
They're both so similar - if the top of the 1st one didn't look like it were twisted funny, then I would totally prefer #1! Otherwise, #2 is excellent too.
I prefer #2, but perhaps with some alterations to make the neckline a sweetheart, although it's gorgeous just as it is. I agree with the PP's who said the bust on #1 looks wonky. Also, not sure if it's the way the dress is catching the light, but it appears to make you look a little larger around the mid-section than the second.
Wow, they look like the exact same dress. It took me a minute to realize the differences. Personally, I think they’re both so…blah. If they were a color other than white, they’d look like prom dresses. I’m not a fan. But it’s your wedding dress, not mine! Everyone has different tastes.
I suppose I’d pick #2. Even though I prefer sweetheart necklines, #1 looks off. Like the right boob is bigger than the left. It doesn’t look like the dress is made well. If they could fix that though, then I’d definitely pick #1. It feels slightly more bridal than dress #2.
I agree with PPs, something looks a bit off in the bust area of the first one. So I vote #2.
I like #2 on you more. I think it flatters your shape and it's beautiful!
@Christy42213: Perhaps rather than insulting her taste, you could have kept the "blah" comment to yourself.
I like dress #1 better because of the sweetheart neckline, but I agree with PPs that the bust looks twisted. It might just be the angle of the photo.
You won't go wrong with either dress!

I prefer the first dress on you, not a great fan of the second - something about the way the skirt drapes :)
@Christy42213: She asked for help deciding between two dresses, not for a critique of her personal taste. You could have constructively offered your opinion, but instead you chose to insult her choices because they're not what you would have chosen for yourself. Perhaps your mother never taught you the old "if you can't say something nice" rule.
@futureMrsTapp: All I hear is, "Blah blah blah." Sharing my opinion of how a DRESS looks is not insulting HER. I didn't say SHE looked ugly. I said the DRESS was blah. That's my personal opinion. Way to highjack her thread by attacking me.
