I fully realize there have been a number of posts like this recently, but I’m jumping on the bandwagon anyway…so help a girl out!
My bridesmaids are wearing orange Davids Bridal short cotton dresses like the one below. My colors are tangerine orange and sage green. I’m trying to decide what color of pashmina to get them…they most likely won’t be wearing them during the ceremony (or even pictures) but I’m giving these as a gift that they can potentially wear in the evening if it gets cold at our outdoor reception. So its not crucial that they match our colors, but I do want them to look nice!
I’m deciding between #2, #10, #31, and #36. What do you all think?
(Edit – I can’t get the colors to upload for some reason – you can see them by following this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=350258468799)

I like the idea of ivory with this dress. Plus it’ll make for a very versatile pashmina for them to wear after the wedding.

I agree with pinot grigio… I’d probably rewear an ivory, not to mention it looks “nicer”… I don’t know why, but ivory just comes across as more luxe.

I agree with Miss Pinot and would choose the ivory. It’s a color that can easily be paired with other colors for future use.

I totally agree with the other bees….ivory is the way to go. It will look nice with your dresses but they will also be more likely to re-use them for other events. Ivory goes with so much!

Another vote for ivory. However, if you don’t plan to have the girls wear them for pictures, what about getting each girl’s favorite color?

I love patterns. Maybe you could get them each a different pashmina that goes with the orange? That way it could be a little more personalized to each girl’s style. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to find something paisley with orange in it.
I think any of those colors would go with the dress, but I would like the sage one because I like to wear color, and I’d use that color the most after the wedding.

Seems like things are overwhelmingly in support of ivory….I do like the pattern and/or favorite colors suggestions though. Hmm…

Ivory always can be worn also.
