Both are beautiful, but I'm loving the one shoulder! It shows off your amazing figure very well!
you look so happy in the lace one, but the bottom is very distracting in the photo (is it sheer?). My vote went to the one shoulder version! Hope you tell us what your fav is! :)
I think the first looks awesome on you. It is very flattering and I love the one shoulder and brooch detail. I second oracle-Is the second one sheer at the bottom?
I am a little put off by the sheer bottom of the bottom dress. I however think you look great in both of them! I voted one-shoulder because of the sheer factor. If that is what you like/drew you to the dress, I would pick that one. It shows off your figure and you definitely look happier in it.
I love the second dress but agree something is off on the skirt. It's not the sheerness that throws me off but that it looks deflated and makes you look unproportionally skinny at the bottom and bigger on top. I think it would look lovely with a mermaid petticoat.
Its a little hard to judge the 2nd pictures since you turned to the side, but the silhouette of lace does seem to be more flattering.. I also wonder about the fact that its sheer.. is it going to be lined before you wear it? If not then I vote for number 1
I like the lace on better on you, but maybe because I am just a sucker for lace. Is it supposed to be sheer?
I think both look wonderful on you. They are very different, I would have to really know you and your personality to see which is more "YOU".
Though I chose the first dress (something about it stands out more), though they're both really beautiful, and look super nice on you :-). So I think either way, you'll do well!
I really like the 2nd one, the lace is beautiful and it looks great on you.
Given your wedding details, I think I prefer the first one. Seems more suitable to a more urban restaurant setting. Both are gorgeous though!
You are GLOWING in the lace dress. Its yours!
Hi Guys,
Thank you for the responses, I really appreciate it.
The lace dress is the one I like better. It's not actually sheer, the lining is sort of a champagne color. I think it looks more bizzare in the photo because she was trying to lay it out so you can see the detail on the lace better. I'll have to go back and take another look though.
I think it's more comfortable/easier to dance in, more me, and it's what I had in mind. However, it is about $500 over my budget, so I haven't made my final decision. Most people seem to prefer the first one, and I know my fiance would.
I'm not a big fan of one shoulder dresses and I AM a big fan of lace but I have to say the first one looks fabulous on you - I would go for that one if I were you!
I have a well known fondness for lace, and 9 times out of 10, I will pick it by default. These dresses are that 10th time. I voted for the one shoulder because I think it matches the description of your wedding better, and between these two dresses, I think it is more figure flattering. Granted, it could just be the picture of the JH, too, because you obviously have a great figure. It just seems to cling in not the best way. I think if you see yourself in a lace dress and this one is over budget anyway (and maybe not the ideal cut for you?), you could probably find another style of lace dress that would be perfect. Good luck. Dress shopping is not an easy process!
Totally go with what you love, but I agree, I think the first one just stands out a bit more for some reason. I also agree that it sounds like it might fit your venue more.
I like the first one. The second one is flattering on you, but in an almost too-sexy way (it looks really good on you, but the va-va-voom factor is off the charts). I don't know if it makes sense what I mean and it may even just be the angle / way you're standing. I'd love to see a different picture of you in it. The first one also seems to suit your setting better.
I know this is late, but I love love love the Jim Hjelm dress...because that's the one I want! The picture doesnt do it justice--it's not sheer! It also is really flattering on you, but they both look great!
I love the lace, but not how the lining stops. You look beautiful in lace, your petite you can definitely pull it off. I like the 1st/1shoulder but its a little too plan after seeing you in the lace!
Can I say keep searching for lace!? BEST OF LUCK!!

Hi Guys,
I have a definite favorite, but would like to get more opinions. (On the 2nd dress, ignore the lace veil, I would not be wearing that).
Which dress do you prefer/ find more flattering? My wedding is in NYC in early September. It's at a restaurant-- the ceremony is on an outdoor patio and the reception is inside of a building with a beautiful brick interior.
Thanks!
