I volte for the knife edge solitaire. To me, it has a timeless appeal that will always be classic and beautiful.
I'm a little biased because I have a knife-edge solitare...but I just feel like it is so timeless :)
Never been a fan of solitaires myself. I find them too common and that they lack personality. Love the flower halo! Especially in yellow gold.
That flower halo is one of my faves on moissaniteco! A lot more interesting than a solitaire, in my opinion. And if you love flowers, you'll never tire of this ring. Sounds like your wedding band would look amazing with it too.

I really like flower designs, my ring was actually created to look like a tulip :) so I usually vote for anything floral. I think what doesn't draw me to the particular flower design that you are considering is that there are a LOT of petals. Perhaps you could find a different floral design?

l love the solitare, it also really looks like my ring so that might be influencing my opinion
i love the classic look of the solitare. your wedding band options will be limitless.

Hello, bees!
I am trying to decide on a setting for my 1.25 ct (7mm)round moissanite stone! I am having a hard time choosing because I love the traditional and classic look of the Knife Edge Solitaire, but I am a huge flower lover (as you can see by my username!). I think the halo is so feminine and romantic, especially in yellow gold! Both suit my personal style and would look great with my wedding band (bezel eternity, yellow gold).
Please vote on your choice and please let me know why you would choose one over the other in the comments! Thank you!
1. Traditional Knife Edge Solitaire. It would be yellow gold with white gold prongs.
2. Flower Shaped Halo. This would be all yellow gold and modified so that there weren't any stones on the band, only on the halo part.
