@Aamitchell51:  All your choices are gorgeous! DY may not sell semi-mounts without the center stone, however, so check into that if you are interested in it. I personally like a simple setting to let the stone be the center of attention, and then add a stack of mismatched bands! Just get one first, and look around for others for anniversaries. Easy peasy. Haha.

I’m going to be no help because I like all of your choices. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but since you said you can picture the last one on your hand, I think that may be your ring 🙂

I’m partial to the simplicity of a solitaire, but love the something extra that the DY ring has!  That would be my choice.  I love a solitaire with a twist!

Add a poll! Also, I love the second look best, but if DY is the one you can picture best on your hand, that’s probably the one to go with. Even though it’s the newest of the bunch, sometimes when you know, you know.

I love the DY and the gaps – then again I always love a bit of a gap and here it just is so classy and stunning!

Then again I love the halo too and the solitare so I guess I’m no real help!!

I LOVE the DY one.  I think with the flanking bands it is beautiful.  My second choice is the halo with a plain shank…it’s a solit1aire type look with a twist, so best of both worlds.  I’m not really a Tiffany solitaire person…too ordinary

Out of all 3 options, I’d pick the classic solitaire or the YG halo – either of those are gorgeous. The David Yurman set is really not my taste.

Multiple wedding bands: why? Who cares? Your mismatch choices are cool. Your David Yurman sandwich is cool too. I like the individual rings better with the mismatch, but the DY looks great as a set. No help here, but nice picks!!

I like the classic solitare. Then you can play up the mismatched bands when you feel like it and go more low key with say one band when that feels right. It gives you a lot of options and I feel like it’s such a classic look. Of course I’m a tad biased as I have a solitare.

Love the Tiffany setting with mis-matched bands!
However, you’ve fallen in love with that beautiful third ring! They’re all beautiful, and I’d rock any of them myself! I’m not much help with these things, I end up loving everything haha.

@Aamitchell51: I’m going through a really similar situation, actually pretty much exactly the same lol

Loove halo, but SO thinks it might look too big. I like solitaire, but it’s the “safe” “can’t go wrong” option (now I know I can play it up with wedding bands, ty :)). And I looove DY and how unique he is but am afraid I’ll look back one day and regret getting it. I also like solitaire with double prongs (classic w/ a twist).

I ended up giving SO a list of those options (with specific links to the settings), and he’s going to pick one. That way it’ll be a surprise and I don’t have to go through the pressure of choosing myself 🙂

Maybe you guys can try that? And don’t worry, you can’t go wrong with 1.5 carats and any of those settings!

BTW James Allen sets loose stones and they have a halo and solitaire DY style settings that you might like 🙂
