Is your car requiring expensive repairs? If not – leave well enough alone. No reason to take on debt/a loan or put out all that cash for no reason.

A car should get you from point A to point B. When it can’t do that reliably, you need a new car. Until then, you’re set. I know it’s tough to not have the fancy shit but new cars, in general, are a waste. a late model used car is usually a better value, and when you get it, you’ll have the latest!

@katy13:  I’m not much of a car person myself. I figure as long as what I’m driving gets me from one place to the next safely and doesn’t seem like it’ll break down anytime soon I’m happy as a clam. I have a honda myself, but everyone else in my family has a BMW. Let me just say, my cheap little honda is way more comfortable to sit in! they all look like cars on the inside, ya know?

@katy13:  I’d be too busy staring at that giant rock to worry about my car! :]

@katy13:  Yeah, I understand that. Its a hard choice. Getting the most out of your vehicle now ( assuming you aren’t repairing it every two seconds) is the best choice. Just be prepared if it breaks down… cell phone, flashlight?
