@cindeeeh:  I had 2 tats that I covered for my daddy for the big day. I used something called Colortration (www.colortration.com) It worked SOOOOOOO good that my make-up artist wanted to know where I got it. It stayed on all day and night and NEVER smudged or ran. Here is a before and after pic.

dermablend is a really popular one too. I’ve been using it for 7 and a half years now (I got a tattoo when i was quite young and didn’t want my parents finding out… and they still don’t know so it must work ok lol) the only downside of it is finding the right combination to match your skin. I have to mix 2-3 different colours depending on the time of year.

Dermablend in the little pots + the setting powder. You can seriously run a marathon and then go swimming, and it’ll stay put.

My SIL used whatever they sell at Davids Bridal and it DID NOT WORK. it looked terrible.  I have read that Kat Von D has a product that works really well, and with as many tattoos as she has I’d hope she knows what she is talking about.  I wouldn’t cheap out on this, a poorly covered tat looks worse than a no covering at all. IMO.

i’m having mine lasered off, so they’re lighter, but the dermablend seemed to work well when I tried a sample.

I have no tattoo of my own but I’ve heard good things about Dermablend from my friends who do have tattoos.

Dermablend staged a publicity stunt where they turned Zombie Boy into a “normal” human.

I’ve used Dermablend for scars (the one in the pot, but make sure you get their setting powder! I’ve tried to go with my usual powder and it isn’t as good). A friend of mine uses it to cover her tattoos for family gatherings

I had an ornate back to my wedding dress & felt that a black tattoo showing through wouldn’t look very good. I used professional stage make-up and then covered it with a thin, clear bandage only because it would have smudged on my dress. Had I had a strapless gown or if the tattoo had been in a more visible location I would have definitely had it professionally covered-up or used a make-up that had a setting powder instead. However, at the time time I just used what I had available and what worked for me. I was happy with the end result but would have definitely done it a little differently if the back of my dress didn’t cover it. Good luck to you!!!

@GoldenBee:  I had to really SEARCH to find the bandage! I say you did a great job with the cover up.
