Ok! So, this is my first post! I am at a desperate lost of how to decorate this space. The link below takes you to the photo gallery and I’m dealing with pictures 8 and 9, or the group shelter. The all wood walls kinda throw me into a loop and I don’t quite know what to do with the space to make it look…better.
Our table centerpieces are wine bottles (dark green) with bright flowers as well as navy flower pots upside down with very light purple and pink flowers. Our wedding colors are navy, teal, lilac, and silver/white. Furthermore, I can’t have uplighting or cover the walls with sheets or something.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Especially budget ones!

I definitely can see the potential in this space, especially if you go with a rustic theme! I say invest in lots of burlap to drape everywhere/use as runners on the tables. Mason jars, tea lights, and maybe hanging paper lanters from the beams on the ceiling.

@futuremrskgt: Oh my goodness! The lanterns on the beams is a great idea! Thanks!

Think about what the temperature will be, before you decide to hang paper lanterns. If you need to use the fans , you will have a disaster with hanging paper lanterns.
If you place them carefully, you could hang grapevine balls as the air can move through them. If you plan ahead, you can even make your own. Do you have any vineyards in Georgia? Grapevines are pruned at the end of winter , so you could scout around and get the prunings free, then make the balls yourself. You could place strings of battery operated mini lights inside.
It was very bright in the pics. Are those lights on dimmers? Are you havinig an evening wedding? If the lights aren’t dimmable you will be having a daylight wedding. It was very bright in the pics.
The wood walls definitely point in the direction of a rustic theme. Burlap runners will be great. Personally, I wouldn’t worry about decorating the walls at all. I think they are neutral and you can just ignore them.

our venue is family similar, it’s beautiful! We’re doing a very rustic/vintage glam wedding

Thanks guys! I like the grapevine idea and know of a perfect place to get them. There’s not telling what the temperature will be and the wedding will start in the afternoon and move to evening. I can’t cover the windows either..so that’s why the pics are really bright.
