my wedding band from blue nile came today!!!!!!!
it’s a lot thinner than i thought! and now i’m so confused by it! it’s so pretty and dainty and thin… the thin part is where i don’t know if i should keep it, or get a new one… or get one for the other side. it is 1.6 mm. my e-ring looks like it’s about 3mm.
what do you all think?? if i get a new one, it will probably be 2mm…. will that be too overwhelming? i know the thicker the band will be the smaller my e-stone will look.
my e-ring is a cathedral and the band just lays flat so my e-ring is totally raised and kinda hides the band.

I like them together. I know that you said it sort of hides behind the e-ring, but I think it’s very dainty and pretty and it doesn’t overpower your solitaire.

The difference between a 1.6mm and a 2mm is not as noticable as you’d think. Certainly not enough to be overwhelming. I think the band you have looks fine.

Its very beautiful & it not being so big lets the band compliment the e-ring instead of take it over!

I prefer the thinner band… it highlights your gorgeous engagement ring!

I think the size looks good, but I love the look of two bands-that is my vote!

I like them together just the way they are, but you should go with what you prefer. I also think it would be beautiful with another band that width on the other side.

I really love it, IMO its the perfect set. I voted to get another on on the other side only because I love sets like that.

Love it, it looks gorgeous to me 🙂

I love the way your rings look together. If it were me though, I would get another one; just because I think it would balance it out more. You could wear one now with your ering and then when you get married, you can add the other one.

I love it. I’m all about the thinner bands.

I think they look beautiful! Having the band on the thinner side doesn’t take away form your engagement ring IMO & really compliment each other.
