@Breakfast_at_Tiffanys:  do you like classic styles or trendy/modern styles?  a lot of filigree or engraving?  pave stones?  halos, solitaires or multi-stone?

Welcome! It’s hard to know without knowing your tastes, what stone would you prefer? What metal? Do you prefer modern or traditional? Something with a little more bling or would a solitaire suit you better?

I love classic solitaires personally!

@Breakfast_at_Tiffanys:  The first and last ones are from kings1912.com. The second one (the bridal set) is from Sears.

@Breakfast_at_Tiffanys:  yeah, i love all jewellery too.  it might be easier to narrow it down by what you don’t like or want.

if you want low maintenance and are afraid of small stones falling out, i would not suggest a pave setting.  to still achieve the bling you want, maybe a 3 or 5 stone ring.

these are classic styles that add a bit more bling than a solitaire but also offer very low maintenance.

I second the advice to stay away from pave if you want low maintenance. Also, stay away from white gold because it needs periodic redipping to stay bright white. If you want low-maintenance white metal, go with palladium (about the same price as white gold) or platinum.

I think the big questions you will have to answer are what metal color you prefer and what stone shape you prefer. Then you can get more detailed with the setting style.

I am a 6 with long-ish fingers too.  I love cushions and think they look best on me.  Any elongated stone is nice too.  I would start by trying everything on and seeing how you go.  I also like 8mm+ stones on me too.  Smaller than that and I feel like they get lost on my hand, because my hands are not small.
