Honestly they both look great and it really depends on what look you are going for. However, based on these two pictures I vote for short. I like how it draws the eye up.

I like the long length the best!  It really accentuates the train of the dress!

I really like the long veil! Granted mine is long too  so I’m a little biased. I don’t know what you’re wanting to spend, but I bought mine custom from the etsy seller AlisaBrides and I just love it! She did a great job! I bet she can work with you to find the perfect lace trim as well! Here’s a link to her store:

    Good luck!

Long! It definitely adds some drama.

I LOVE the long one, IMO it’s the winner by far… but I’ve always wondered about the logistics of having that long of a train attached to your head. Do you put it on at the church? Or like… pull it all off to the side in the car/limo/trolley/whatever transportation you are taking? I feel like I would be having my entire head pulled back and ruin my hair if I wore something that long. I would seriously like to hear what people do when they wear sweeping veils like that.

LibrarianBride:  Either the long one or a chapel length.

I would go with a waltz length. (Just below the back of the knees) you could even possibly wear it all night if you want. If not, go with the long veil. Very beautiful!!

LibrarianBride:  I think you’d be fine while you are standing, but sitting is where it gets tricky I think. I suppose it wouldn’t be too hard to pull it to the side, but I know if it were me I would forget and sit on it and it would snap my head back. Could you go back and try it out walking/sitting? People obviously buy them a lot, so there is absolutely a way to deal with it, but you have to know yourself and what you feel like dealing with on that day.
